327/365: Starry Night

This blog is a day late, and I’m sorry about that but I do promise it was taken on Wednesday night. I took this late Wednesday light as I was heading out to Wal-Mart to pick up some Cool Whip, sweet potatoes and aluminum foil for Kendra’s Thanksgiving dinner that we were cooking.

Knowing that I had run out of time to get a photo for the day, I pulled over to the little pond in front of Meridian tech. I wanted to get some shots of the reflections of the buildings in the distance.

The photos I was getting really weren’t that interesting, and I was having a heck of a time with exposure. I was also not having the best time with focus, so I didn’t know what I was going to get for the blog.

So I headed back to my car, and this is what I saw. A beautiful Starry night, with my car right in front of a big tree, so I decided to shoot a few frames.

I liked the way it turned out a lot more then the others I had shot.
