253/365: Thistle in the Rain
Today I hung out at Kendra house almost all day. Not many photo opportunities arose from this. So when it started to rain outside I decided to get some gear and head out.
I borrowed a macro lens from Kendra’s sister, Kayla, and went to shooting water drops. I also shot some nice fun flower shots with water drops while I was out.
This shot really doesn’t have many water drops, but in the end it was the one I liked the most. I don’t know what that yellow bug is, but it contrasted against the thistle real nice.
I was using a Sigma 105mm Macro lens, and I won’t lie I like the dedicated macro lens much better then the kenko tubes. Hopefully in the near future I can find me a nice used macro lens to purchase.
Thanks Kayla,
Mitch
