229/365: Duty Phone

This here is the infamous RD duty phone. I’ve been holding this phone for the last three nights, and oh man has it rang a lot.

I’ll be nothing happier then when I get to hand this photo over to the next RD tomorrow.

I’ve always been a big fan of jumping in the deep end to learn how to swim, and that’s what I did with the duty rotation. I wanted to get my first one out of the way early, and so I signed up for the phone early and have taken a bunch of calls in the last few days.

It was a great learning opportunity and I know longer have the jitters when the phone goes off, I have what I like to call my sea legs.
